Luzula multiflora ssp. multiflora
Common wood rush
Luzula multiflora produces small, inconspicuous flowers, but its primary value is in supporting a variety of woodland insects, including leafhoppers and moth larvae. Its tolerance of part shade, moist conditions makes it an excellent groundcover for woodland or shade gardens.
